On September 19 at the Sánchez-Pizjuán, Sevilla started like true home side: Youssouf Fofana put the Andalusians ahead in the 19th minute with a header after a cross from Félix Correia. Barça responded immediately: in the 22nd minute, Raphinha latched onto a pass from Christensen, cut inside and finished to make it 1–1. Barça’s first scare had come earlier, when a shot by Lamine Yamal hit the post — even the woodwork wanted to be in the picture. (fcbarcelona.es)
After the break, the Lamine–Raphinha partnership went from a good idea to a full-blown problem for Sevilla’s defense: in the 52nd minute, Lamine crossed and Raphinha headed the ball in to turn the score around; in the 69th, the young forward slipped a pass through and the Brazilian chipped the ball over the goalkeeper to complete his hat-trick. Barça won 1–3, with Raphinha scoring all three goals and taking home the match ball — or, at the very least, earning the right to choose the locker-room music. Christensen also had to be substituted through injury in the 59th minute. (fcbarcelona.es)
